Hydro-geologic Investigations- DeLisle routinely performs all aspects of these investigations which include, but are not limited to the following services.

    • Monitoring Well Installations- Devices that allows the user to collect geologic, hydrologic and chemical data on soil and water.  These wells are installed to allow short or long-term monitoring capabilities and to establish groundwater flow characteristics.

    • Groundwater Flow Modeling-    Groundwater models are used to predict the transport of contaminants to assist in risk evaluation.

    • Sieve analysis- The characterization of soils, including type, texture, color, etc. using different size mesh screens to separate particle sizes.  These types of analysis often lend themselves to remedial system design and ground water modeling programs.



    • Soil remediation-Involves a processes of removing contaminants from soils impacted on site.  There are several ways that this can be done.  DeLisle is well versed in regulatory requirements governing this process and works with client needs and constraints to utilize the most appropriate method.


    • SVE System Design And Installation- Soil vapor extraction (SVE), also known as "soil venting" or "vacuum extraction", is an in situ remedial technology that reduces concentrations of volatile constituents in petroleum products adsorbed to soils in the unsaturated (vadose) zone. In this technology, a vacuum is applied through wells near the source of contamination in the soil.  Depending upon soil types and other site constraints, this remedial technique can be quite effective.


    • Pilot Testing- Typically performed to evaluate the most appropriate method for remediation of a particular contaminant on site.  Various in scope, price and other site constraints.


    • Groundwater Pump And Treat Systems- Basic components include ground water extraction methods, above-ground treatment, disposal of treated water and monitoring both in and outside of the contaminated area.  Depending on client need, constraints and time schedules, this may be a viable option for remediation.


    • Air Sparging-This is the process of injecting air directly into groundwater.  It volatilizes chemicals and increases bio-remedial properties within the in-situ, subsurface environment.  Depending upon client need, constraints, and time schedules, this may be a viable option for remediation.


    • In-situ Bio-remediation of both Soil And Groundwater-  The process of allowing naturally occurring or enhancement of existing microbiological organisms the ability to naturally attenuate (reduce) levels of contaminants over a period of time.
